Sustainability

We believe that responsible business is ‘best business’. As such, where we can, we invest in environmentally friendly and social responsible initiatives and activities.

Examples of such are: Vizara Rubber Plantation and Club Makokola Retreat. Vizara Rubber plantation allows for the a zero-based wastage of natural resources. Rubber trees are grown and subsequently harvested for the production of rubber. After three years of a tree’s production of rubber, trees are then cut to produce wooden furniture and other equipment. Everything is used: nothing is wasted. This is good for the environment and good for S.R. Nicholas.

In the same vein, our presence in tourism and hospitality is spearhead by the national treasure that is Club Makokola. With beautiful blue skies, azure waters and white sandy beaches, Club Makokola boasts of a memorable holiday experience for local and foreign travels far and wide.
